Abstract (English):
This article is devoted to the consideration of information and communication technologies in teaching foreign languages. The paper focuses on the educational opportunities of the interactive Wordwall platform in teaching English grammar. A brief overview of the most significant Internet platforms with a description of their functionality is given. The allocation of the Wordwall platform is justified. The nature of the proposed grammatical material is described in detail, taking into account the age of students: 8–12 years old, 13–18 years old, 18 years old and older. The absence of restrictions on the use of Worldwall by traditional teaching methods, such as exercises for filling in gaps or choosing the correct answer, is indicated. Examples of the original use of Worldwall are given. The authors analyze the existing advantages of the Wordwall interactive platform, both of a linguistic and technical nature. Some extralinguistic shortcomings of the Internet resource are also noted. Methodological recommendations on the use of the interactive Wordwall platform are given.
