THE ACTIVITY OF POLICE SQUADS TO ENSURE LAW AND ORDER AT THE FACILITIES OF THE TRANSPORT COMPLEX IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE SPECIAL MILITARY OPERATION
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The transport complex often becomes a means of achieving criminal goals related to the illegal transportation of weapons and drugs, explosives and other items prohibited in civil circulation, and is also one of the main potential targets of terrorism. In a difficult socio-political and international situation, ensuring the smooth operation of the country’s transport complex is a priority in the activities of the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in transport. At the same time, with the beginning of the special military operation (hereinafter referred to as SMO), the number of offenses at transport facilities has increased, in particular with the participation of military personnel, which leads to the decentralization of the functioning of the transport complex and complicates the activities of transport police officers to ensure law and order. In this regard, the article analyzes the measures used to control the operational situation and prevent possible offenses at the facilities of the transport complex in the conditions of the SMO. The author considers the main tactical forms of service by police squads in conditions of the SMO, on the basis of which some aspects of improving the efficiency of the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in transport in special conditions are presented.
