ELECTRONIC FORM OF PROCEDURAL DECISIONS IN PRE-TRIAL PROCEEDINGS
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The author supports the proposal of scientists on the possibility of transferring pre-trial criminal proceedings to an electronic format (the introduction of an electronic criminal case into the criminal process). This will lead to the abandonment of paper documents and the transition to electronic ones. The Criminal Procedure Law currently allows the use of electronic documents in criminal proceedings, but their list is insignificant. In pre-trial proceedings, the persons conducting the investigation make a significant number of decisions, which, in an electronic criminal case, will be reflected in electronic documents. According to the author, it is currently possible to transfer some of the procedural decisions into electronic format, and in some cases this transference is necessary.
