The article is devoted to the analysis of the frst part of Article 61 of the Civil Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. The author analyzes the process of recognizing circumstances as well-known by the court and points out that this process is also evidence, and also offers his own wording of the frst part of Article 61 of the Civil Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.
