The article considers some areas of law enforcement activities in the fight against crimes committed through the use of information and telecommunication technologies. It is noted that currently the measures taken by the state to combat this kind of crimes are insufficient and require continuous improvement. The author draws attention to the problem of the investigator’s interaction with cellular operators and credit and financial institutions in the investigation of crimes of this category
