The article deals with the issues of legal regulation of ensuring the safety of citizens who inform about the facts of corruption. The author cites foreign experience. A comparative legal analysis of the anti-corruption laws of the CIS member states is carried out in terms of the legal validity of the guaran-tee of state protection of persons reporting corruption facts. The main for-eign models of ensuring the protection of informants about corruption are highlighted. The necessity of improving the legal regulation of the persons in question is substantiated and appropriate changes to the legislation are pro-posed.
