Abstract (English):
The article is devoted to the consideration of civil legal relations arising in connection with the finding. Based on the current legislation of the Russian Federation and other normative acts, it considers the concept of finds, and legal relations arising between the subjects of found things. In the course of the study, the authors relied on the materials of judicial practice and the works of scientists; analyzed the norms of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation regulating the institutions of finding and neglected animals, paid attention to the specifics of the participation of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation in legal relations related to the finding by virtue of the law. The conclusion is made that within the framework of the institution of finding there is a close connection not only with civil law, but also with other norms. In a number of cases, the authors have made proposals aimed at improving the institution of finding in the Russian Federation.
