APPLICATION OF VIRTUAL AND AUGMENTED REALITY TECHNOLOGIES IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS OF HIGHER EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS OF THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF RUSSIA

Abstract:
The article discusses the issues of training specialists in departmental educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the context of modern challenges and tasks facing the Ministry. The necessity of forming a personnel reserve with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, as well as adapting employees to changing socio-economic and political conditions is emphasized. The article substantiates the need to restructure the system of training and retraining of police officers using innovative pedagogical and digital technologies, including the personalization of training and the creation of an immersive educational environment. Special attention is paid to the use of VR/AR technologies and artificial intelligence for the formation of professional competencies of future lawyers. Examples of successful use of VR simulators and cyber polygons in various departmental universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are given.
