This article discusses the personality issues in sociology, which makes it possible to clarify the tasks of a theoretical and methodological nature, since a certain philosophical and sociological interpretation of the personality significantly affects the solution of managerial, psychological, pedagogical and other problems, both theoretical and practical. Particular attention is paid to the need to develop a sociological theory of personality that meets the current challenges and requirements of the development of Russian society under modern conditions.
