The article examines the constitutional and legal mechanisms for protecting the rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of minors in the Russian Federation. It analyzes the historical stages of the development of legislation in this area, as well as current challenges and trends. Special attention is given to the role of the state in ensuring the priority of family upbringing, as well as the balance between the rights and obligations of minors. Based on a retrospective analysis and statistical data, the article proposes ways to improve the constitutional and legal regulation of children’s rights protection.
