Factors contributing to physical development disorders among schoolchildren are examined, including sarcopenic obesity. Methods aimed at improving school nutrition based on experts’ recommendations in dietetics and health are proposed. The importance of choosing appropriate cooking methods and diversifying meals is highlighted. Special attention is paid to early formation of healthy eating habits and the role of families in this process. Results from a sociological study conducted by the Scientific Center for Social Development Research of the Institute of Strategic Studies, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, in 2024, during September and October, at the request of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bashkortostan, are presented. More than 62 thousand parents were surveyed across all administrative regions of the republic.
